International Students - How to Apply

Pima Community College is proud to host international students from about 50 countries. Our team is here to help you!

As an international student, you have to meet certain requirements in order to study at Pima Community College as a full-time, F-1 student. Please follow these steps and we'll get you on your way to a rewarding academic experience. 

Step 1: Complete the online application: Apply now

   Application deadlines:
      Fall Semester - July 15
      Spring Semester - November 15
      Summer Semester - April 15

Step 2: Provide a copy of your current passport.

Step 3: Fill out the Affidavit of Support form. The affidavit must be verified with a bank seal or submitted with an official bank statement.

Step 4: Proof of English Proficiency is only required for students interested in an Academic/Degree-Seeking program.

Step 5: Provide copies of high school records and transcripts, properly translated into English (not required for ESL only students). Do not have these records? Don't worry! Please email us and we will discuss your situation with you. 

If you are an F1 student and want to transfer to Pima Community College, please follow these steps.

Step 1: Complete the online application: Apply now

Step 2: Provide a copy of your current passport.

Step 3: Fill out the Affidavit of Support form. The affidavit must be verified with a bank seal or submitted with an official bank statement.

Step 4: Provide a copy of your current F-1 student visa

Step 5: Provide copies of all your I-20 form(s)

Step 6: Provide a copy of your previous and current unofficial transcript(s)

Step 7: Proof of English Proficiency is only required for students interested in an Academic/Degree-Seeking program.

Step 1: Concurrent Enrollment Authorization

If you are an international student at the University of Arizona and want to take classes at Pima concurrently, you must apply for approval at UofA’s ISSO office first. Please use this link The University of Arizona Undergraduate Students and find the "Concurrent Enrollment" section to apply for approval. UA ISS Office will notify PCC's International Center when you are approved. 

If you are an international student at a university/college other than the University of Arizona, please fill out the Concurrent Enrollment Authorization Form and have your advisor email or fax it to us. If your home institution has its own authorization form or letter, we can accept it too. Please make sure it is sent from your advisor directly.

Step 3: Provide a copy of your current passport

Step 4: Provide a copy of your current F-1 student visa

Step 5: Provide a copy of your current I-20 Form

Step 6: Provide a copy of your most recent unofficial transcript

Step 7: If you are a sponsored student, please also complete the Affidavit of Support form and request a Sponsorship Letter specifically addressed to PCC.
