Nursing (ADN)

Associate of Applied Science

Get the comprehensive knowledge, skills and practical experience needed to begin working in this critical healthcare field.  By completing this program you will be well prepared to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN®) and become eligible to work as a registered nurse.

Length of program: 5-6 semesters.

Competitive Admissions Program: Students must meet the preparatory coursework and any other prerequisites and apply to the program. Only the most qualified students are admitted to the program. See Program Admissions, or a West Campus advisor for details.

Academic Options

Continue your studies by taking a bachelor’s degree in nursing at a university. Students entering this program who are interested in a BSN or MSN should consider Pima's Concurrent Enrollment programs.

Program Requirements 2020-2021

Students must earn a C grade or better in all program core and support courses* to progress to the next semester or to graduate.  Course substitutions are not accepted in the Nursing program.

These courses may be eligible for Title IV loans only; see a financial aid specialist.
